Six more small-scale landslides detected in Gunung Jerai

YAN, Aug 24 — The Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia (JMG) has detected six more small-scale landslides on the slopes of Gunung Jerai seven days after debris flows flooded nearby areas surrounding the mountain.

Flood in Yan claims three victims, three more missing

ALOR SETAR, Aug 19 — Three victims were found dead in several locations around the Gunung Jerai area in Yan, which was hit by a flood following an upstream rush of water on Wednesday.
